Monir Osman:: Co-founder and Director of RAW comes from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Monir is also very active and passionate about dance, specifically breakdance or bboying. He has been bboying for over six years and teaching for more than three years. He has also done countless dance performances in schools and nightclubs.
Dance and business are two of Monir’s passions, which he has been able to combine with the incorporation of Rhythm and Action Arts Society (RAW). He is a director of the company, which offers youth the ability to learn and practice forms of movement including dance, martial arts and gymnastics. He believes this builds confidence and self -esteem in individuals while enhancing their skill level. Monir hopes to one-day work full time on RAW and help expand the business to more youth, communities and cities.

Kelly
Balon:: C o-founder and director of RAW, also from Saskatoon, has a strong balance of academic and experiential skills in International and Community Economic Development with his studies at Simon Fraser University and the University of Saskatchewan.
He has a demonstrated knowledge of issues affecting youth, and practical strategies for empowerment with over six years experience working with youth and diverse communities. In the last three years in Vancouver, Kelly has integrated his unique approach to youth engagement and empowerment with sport and recreation leadership training programs for native youth in East Vancouver. He brings a creative force to community development projects with his education and training in martial arts and his passion and knowledge of the entertainment industry.
